St. Patrick's Day Parade

So as is tradition, the Weimer girls try to make the St. Patrick's day parade in Baton Rouge each year.  Luck (ha-ha) would have it this year that Nannie Jane was in town from Dallas, so we really were all together.  The morning started off early this year meeting at Mr. Richard's shop at CHS.

The Weimer girls (and yes, its never too early for a beer!): Jane, Missy and Kim

Mr. Richard gave the girls a ride on his fancy 4 wheeler:

Katie, Emily, Scott, Jane, Emma, Juju and Paw paw waiting for the parade to start.

Juju gets some fancy panties from one of her friends!

Looking good Judy!

The bagpipers started the fun:

And the floats begin!  There are so many floats and beads in this parade, that we literally stop catching after awhile.  The kids love it!

So after the parade, the tradition continues with some boiled crawfish.  They were delicious as usual, prepared by Mr. Richard the the men folk!:

Emma, Emily and Jane continue to peel even after most of us had stopped:

Everyone else enjoys the great crawfish:

Emma and one of her many crawfish - so proud of my little cajun girl!

Emily and Emma finish off the table.

After that we had dessert and relaxed for awhile before heading home.  We were exhausted.  So glad everyone could make the party!
